Hazardous Waste-For Linn County Conditionally Exempt Small Quantity Generators:
(CESQs are businesses that generate less than 100 kilograms/220 pounds of hazardous waste per month).
A hazardous waste is any solid, liquid, or contained gas that is being disposed of, burned or recycled, that is known to be harmful to human health and the environment when not properly managed.

Businesses are required by law to properly dispose of electronic waste-computers, televisions, printers, etc. E-waste can be recycled through the Pollution Prevention Center.
